Актер разбился в ДТП в Калифорнии
В воскресенье, 1 декабря, известный американский актер Пол Уокер, звезда серии фильмов франшизы «Форсаж», погиб в автокатастрофе в Калифорнии.
Об этом со ссылкой на официальную страничку актера в Facebook сообщает РИА Новости.
«С тяжелым сердцем мы должны подтвердить, что Пол Уокер скончался сегодня в результате автокатастрофы», — говорится в сообщении.
Актер попал в ДТП в городе Санта-Кларита, расположенном к северу от Лос-Анджелеса, куда он приехал для участия в автошоу, целью которого был сбор средств для помощи пострадавшим от тайфуна на Филиппинах. В сообщении на страничке актера на сайте Facebook отмечается, что он был пассажиром автомобиля своего друга, который находился за рулем. Оба погибли.
Пол Уокер родился в 1973 году в городе Глендейл, штат Калифорния. Актерскую карьеру Уокер начал еще в раннем детстве, когда снимался в различных рекламных роликах. В 1986 году он дебютировал в кинематографе, сыграв небольшую в фильме ужасов «Чудовище в шкафу». Но всемирная известность пришла к актеру лишь в 2001 году, когда он снялся в роли уличного гонщика Брайана О’Коннера в фильме «Форсаж». После этого вышло несколько продолжений фильма. Премьера последнего из них состоялась в 2013 году. В сентябре этого года начались съемки седьмой части фильма, выход которого запланирован на 2014 год. Пока кинокомпания Universal Pictures, занимающаяся съемками фильма, не сообщила, отразится ли гибель актера на планах кинокомпании.
